How can I fully erase all of its memory before letting the printer go?

Hello,

I heard this printer came with the hard drive. I have printed some personal information through this printer but want to upgrade to another.

How can I erase all of its memory?

(If I need the factory reset, how do I perform it?)

And secondly if you have time, please answer this question, too..

Toner of this printer is suppose to be new (someone who gave it to me told me so), but the printing quality has been always grayish, never black or close to it.

Was there damage to any of its components or do I need another ink cartridge?

This printer did not come nor could you add a hard disk, so have no worry. No information is contained on the electronics of the printer.
