Hello HP Forums!
I just recently bought an HP Officejet 4630. I upgraded from the HP Officejet 6500 .
I load accounts receiable checks into the document loader and scan multiple checks at one time. Some of the checks I have to load long-ways first so the document loader can work.
My Officjet 6500 would automatically rotate the check 90 degrees in the scanned image.
My 4630 won't rotate the check. I have to rotate the image after it is scanned.
How can I get my Officejet 4630 to rotate scanned images 90 degrees?
Thank you in advance.

Welcome @volitics,
Thanks for engaging in the HP Forums! I see by your post that you would like to know how to rotate the scan image. I will certainly do my best to help you.
The Officejet 6500 uses Version:28.8 software and the Officejet 4630 uses Version 32.3. It looks like some of the scan features have changed with the new scanning software. I wasn't able to find a rotate option using the HP Scan Software.
You could use Paint and rotate the scans through that software for .bmp, JPEG, and GIF formats.

I found a way to get my printer to rotatte the image. You have got to open the HP Printer Assistant software on the desktop. Then click Scan a Document or Photo --> Document to File (PDF) --> Advanced Settings.
In the Advanced Settings for Document to File dialog box check "Auto Deskew."
Then click the Advanced Settings for Document to File --> File tab. Choose "Searchable PDF" in the File Type dropdown menu.
Then uncheck the "Create separate file for each scanned page" box.
