I just bought the Officejet 8600.  After struggling and finally finding out I was not the only one having issues printing A7 envelopes I figured out a potential solution.  Instead of printing via "envelopes" where no A7 option is given, try printing under "Labels"  and setting the custom paper size as 5x7.  You will then need to center the address and hit return key 4 to 6 times to bring address text down.  Also will need to adjust font as desired.  When you put the envelope in the printer tray, place it face down top side first.  Hope this helps.

I have an HP PSC 1400 and am having the same problem. What alternate driver should I use?

I have an Officejet Pro 8600, Windows 8 and Word 2010. I cannot print A7 envelopes. I have read the fixes involving the printer drivers for the the Deskjet 450, 990c and 9800 but do not find any of them on the list of HP drivers.

Help!

Any other suggestions?
