Printer Website Support Driver and Firmware Page

HP Officejet 7500A Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer - E910a

 

If you have not done so, install the Full Feature Software for your printer:

HP Officejet 7500 Wide Format e-All-in-One Printer series - E910 Full Feature Software and Driver

 

After the printer software is installed, Restart your computer and log in to "finish" the installation process!

Printer Software

 

 

Open the Printer Assistant / Solution Center shortcut on Desktop (Printer icon on the Desktop named for your printer)

Open Scan a Document or Photo  (wording varies)

Select Document to File / Save as PDF

Select Scan Size >> example: Letter (equivalent to 8.5 X 11”) or Entire Scan Area

Ensure Resolution is <= (less or equal) 300 DPI 

Check   Show scan preview

Select Flatbed Glass OR Use Document Feeder if Loaded (Wording varies)

 

NEXT:  After other selections are complete on this page, Select Advanced Settings

 

Under Advanced Settings for Document to File >

 

Select tab File >

Clear / UNCHECK   “Create a separate file for each scanned page”

 

Under Advanced Settings for Document to File >

Select tab Destination >

Type / Enter your choice for “Base File Name” >

Select / Browse to Selected “Save Location” >

Select your choice for “After Scan” action (Do Nothing) >

Select OK to close and exit the Advanced Options Menu

 

Place your first document (page) to be scanned on the printer glass

Place the document face down with top of the page to your right (position may vary by printer)

  • The main Scan menu reappears after closing the Advanced Settings

Select Scan

Remove the first page from the glass after the scan is complete

  • Reminder: Do NOT click on Save

Place the next page to be scanned on the glass

Click the tiny, nearly invisible “+” sign / box to scan the document

  • After you click the tiny “+” box, Document 2 will scan
  • The results show up both on the main scan window and in the left side in the blue box

Replace Document 2 with Document 3 and click “+” to add the page

  • When the page is scanned it shows up on the left side with the others in this group

Click Save > Select a File name for the combined document >

Click Save to save the combined file

Click DONE to stop the scan process.
