My daughter would like to print 6x4, 7x5 & A4 photos onto glossy photo paper via her HP Student Laptop & HP Envy 5530 e-All-in-One Series Printer. Could anyone please advise me how my daughter can do this. Thank you.

- Install the Full Feature Software to take advantage of the printer's features and software options.
- Use a favorite program to open / display the photo > in Print Preview > Printing Preferences (Options) > adjust the paper size, Media type (kind of paper), tray selection, and other options
Sounds overly simple -- and it can be that easy.
The printer will likely respond best to using HP paper -- other high quality brands may work just fine, too. For my purposes, HP Advanced Photo paper has always provided good results.
One caveat: Many printers that provide the little photo tray do limit the size of paper allowed to be used in that tray to the 4X6 inch size. It is not always apparent that this is case; the tray will sometimes adjust to larger sizes regardless of that restriction.
For example, if you want to print on 5X7 paper,
- Remove the regular paper from the main tray >
- Place the 5X7 paper into that main tray - print side down >
- Adjust the sliding bar(s) to hug the paper >
- Use program > Print Preview / Printing Preferences to tell the printer about the job parameters >
- and Print

Notes:
If you do not find the size of paper you want in the Printing Preferences paper size list, you can create a Custom Form (Custom Sizes) for your special sized paper. The number of parameters available for a custom form are somewhat restricted; you can at least designate the size. Start with a similar type of paper (from the list of available standard types) and the custom form should serve adequate results.
Still available in Windows 8.x, you should find the Windows Photo Viewer program. This is a simple photo editing and print program that can help set up a basic photo print. The first time, you might print the photo on some plain paper to make sure you are getting what you expect.

Hi @Garry21.
The Quick Prints project in HP Photo Creations offers all those sizes and more. HP Photo Creations is a free download at www.hp.com/go/hppc. It runs on Mac and Windows.
Here's a direct link to the Quick Prints projects. You can download the software from here as well:
https://scripts.rocketlifeproduction.com/go/catalog.php/hp?category=prints_learnmore%23quickprints
Downloading the full-feature printer software, as Dragon-Fur recommended, will give you additional control over your printer. For example, it may enable borderless printing if that's not enabled already.
Hope this helps,
RocketLife
