HP Photosmart 4680

I am getting this message when I try to print on my HP Photosmart 4680 "clean ink stains from printer" .  How do I do this?  Thanks!

Hi,

If the ink stain is fresh, water should be sufficient to clean it and if it's dried in an alcohol might work better.

There may be ink blocking a sensor somewhere - check around the inside of the printer for ink staining. There may be a paper sensor inside the printer facing downwards.

Hi, while I've not seen this particular error before, instructions for cleaning your Photosmart can be found here:

Hope this helps!

I work for HP.
