A wrongly inserted toner cartridge got stuck inside the printer. When the printer is powered, it makes noise and stops at "initializing". What do I do to remove it? Can the Carousal noise cause any damage?

Hey there! @Onembo, Thank you for joining the HP Forums!

I understand that you have placed the cartridge incorrectly and it stuck inside your printer.

Please try steps recommended below.

Are these the steps you used to manually move the carousel?
Open the scanner lid and the lid below that so you should see the toners.
On the left-hand side of the black frame, you will see an oval hole with a white plastic piece inside it.
You will need to use something to push down on the white plastic piece, at the same time push the carousel backward, don't touch the toner, though. It has to be in the exact right position in order to be able to pull the toner out.

If the issue still persists please contact HP for service options.

Link to contact HP.

I'll watch your reply!

Have a beautiful day! 🙂
