Hi @deecee98,

I understand that you would like to remove the date & time, page #, and header when sending faxes. I would like to help you out today.

I checked on the Officejet 8600 printer in our lab and it looks like you have to enter something in the fields or it will not let you continue the wizard. You could always change it to a symbol, so your information doesn't show. I tried through the Fax Wizard Software and you have to put in a number using that software. I even restored the Fax Defaults on the printer and the Header settings stayed the same.

On the printer go to Fax Setting, Fax Setup , Basic Settings, Fax Header.

Back space out the information in the field and select any symbol instead of filling in the personal information, then click Done for each field.

Hi @deecee98,

I tried back spacing out the field and just taping the spaces but it wouldn't let you select Done.

You can use a period, symbol, letter, whatever you prefer so you can select Done in each field so that your personal information isn't printed out on the header. But again whatever you select will still appear for the header unfortunately.

Thank You.

Hi @deecee98,

I explained on the previous post that you are unable to leave the header blank. The header is default on the printer and something has to be entered. Thank You.
