my black ink will not print and I have replaced the cartidge and shut it off and on and cleaned the head and realigned and opened up the vent on the ink. I have done it all.
I do not have 'set to factory setting' in the tools menu.
Now what?

hello there.
i'm having a similar problem - except that my printer is insisting that the black ink cartridge - even after i've replaced it with a brand new one - is missing or damaged. so it won't let me past that message in order to access factory settings or anything else.
everything looks fine inside...am i going to have to replace it?
