I am also having problems with missing Printhead. They sent me another printer. And the 2nd one is still defective. I was on hold forever then I was disconnected. Then I was on hold for over 1 hour, called again and I was on hold forever. I've been with out a printer for a long time. Very Unhappy.

My HP Deskjet 6100 is one year old and all of a sudden this popped up.  I have tried the tips propsed before.

I bought a new ink yesterday Placr in in the machine and they keep telling me install printer head
