I have a HP Photosmart C4250 All In One?  Installed new ink cartridges, seemed to work fine, now

top half of page is nice and dark, but bottom half is pale.  How can I run a cleaning for this?  Maybe the

Black Printer head has dried out or partially stopped up.

Hi Kathy,

You can run a printhead cleaning routine from your computer.  The link below is a troubleshooting document that explains the steps.  You need to go to:

Step two: Run the clean print cartridges utility

Hope that this helps & solves your issue.

Thank you for the reply.  I will check out this link.

When I try to access the HP Solution Center on my desktop, I get the following message:

=====================

HP Solution Center

HP Solution Center cannot run because your device installation is not complete.

Please plug in the USB cable or re-run the setup program from the installation CD for a network installation.

If this does not complete the installation, or you do not have the CD, access the HP help files by clicking the Start menu.

This used to work, but all of a sudden it doesnt work.  I don't know where the CD is to reinstall.

Thank you, the link you gave me helped me find the place to clean the printheads. Either I have a bad cartridge, or am really out of ink. I appreciate your help.

Still I don't know what happened to my HP Solution Center.

Hi KathyClark

It sounds like the Solutions Software has gotten corrupted and wanting it reinstalled.

You could uninstall and reinstall the printer software to resolve this issue.

If you need more assistance just let me know.
