Why does my printer leave a white border on my pictures?  I did not select the photo paper "with tab".

What can I do to change this??

Hi,

For the papaer size that you are selecting, there should also be a borderless paper option. You could also try the "fit to page option" in printer properties.

Hi,

What printer model do you have? is the white border all the way around the photo?

My printer is HP 1055 the "all in one type".  It was only $60, the quality of the photos is not bad.

The border is at the bottom of the photo and its about 3/4 of an inch, and cuts off some of the

picture.  Thank You for your help!!!

Hi,

Does the photo paper that you're using have a tab attached? If it does, the paper would have a dotted tear away line somewhere close to the edge of one side.

If you're using photo paper with a tab, you'll need to feed the paper in an orientatuin such that you can tear off the tab, leaving you with a full photo.

If you don't have paper with a tab, then make sure that the paper is properly loaded into the photo tray.
