Operating System: Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Hi, I'm trying to do a cleaning  or realign a hp 2542, but I'm using the all in one remote for android,  it's so complicated  there's no options in the app menu

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you are unable to remotely clean or align the cartridges of your HP Deskjet 2542 All-in-One Printer.

 

This printer does not support Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Hence, you need to clean and align the cartridges only from the computer.

 

You may follow the steps in the user guide in Page no. 58 from the link: http://hp.care/2f1EglW
