Hello, I want to sell my printer because im going to buy a more modern one. This one was great, and I did a lot of work with it. My worry is, the last thing I printed was very sensitive data, which contains my personal details and banking details on the printed papers. So im worried that this data is somehow still inside the printer's RAM (i've read this printer has 2 MB of RAM so it could have a lot of stuff stored, since txt images are small in memory, and I printed mostly text and not many images)
Anyway, how do I completely flush any possible data inside the printer of my printed stuff so I can sell this safely?
Thanks

Just reset the printer back to Factory Defaults, reset back to Network Defaults. Now verity the FAX address book is empty. Done.
Thanks, but I have no idea how to do that. Can you explain step by step please? Im sure this is in the manual but I lost the booklet.

The Photosmart 7150 does not have FAX or networking so this will not need to be reset. For this printer simply turning the printer off and unplugging the pritner for a minute will erase all print jobs in the printer. Also make sure no camera cards are left in the slots in the front of the printer.
You can find the user manual for the Photosmart 7150 here.
