When I scan new documents, my previous scans are are being included in the final pdf document. For example, I scanned a document today and my previous 15 scan were included with my new document as one scan. Is there a way to erase the scan memory? I spoke to Apple and they said it was an HP problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks for contacting HP.
Here's a document found in HP.com support pages that might be helpful to you.

Are you using Image Capture or HP Scan or HP Easy Scan with your 8700?
If you are using HP Scan/HP Easy Scan, any pages that show in the preview thumbnails (left hand side) will be included in the document you save.
You need to either close HP Scan between scans or select New Scan session under the file menu. This will clear all previous pages scanned.
