Product: Laserjet ent m4555f mfp

How can I get an HP Laserjet ENT M4555F MFP printer to work with an IBM system i  iSeries output queue configured to connect to the printer via IP address.   Any configuration attempt the spool file goes into a pending state.  If I switch the output queue to go to another HP printer it works with no issue.  I have a feeling that something is not configured properly on the printer or it is missing necessary software on the printer side to allow it to work.
