HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer

I have had an HP 7520 printer/scanner for a long time and been very happy with it.  I previously used a dashboard/app/software that let me check ink levels, print diagnostic pages, print and scan.  When I clicked on scan, it let me select the output type like .pdf or .jpg etc, if I wanted it saved or emailed, and let me select other parameters like size, DPI, etc.  I got a new computer and got the 7520 all connected just fine, but I have lost the mentioned software.  To scan all I can find are "HP Smart" and "HP Scan and Capture".  I dislike both of these compared to the previous software I had.  Is there a way to go back to what I had before?
