Hi, How can I prevent outsiders from using my HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 ?
The initial PIN code is 12345678. I tried changing it but couldn't find how.
(The printer is conected and working and everything is cool. I'm just making sure)

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Please watch this resource:

Hope that helps!

Hi, thank you for the guidance.
It didn't help me much though, because pages 101-108 explain how to change the IP itself, while I wish just to change the PIN code. moreover, the laptop/antivirus/browser won't let me change the IP due to security issues. I watched the vid, it helped me see and understand, but again - I stayed with the problem.
Isn't there any other way to prevent people from using the printer?
it looks too advanced preferences for such an obvious nessesary demand.
