I would like to remove the tray that sits above the paper feed tray....the one that catches the papers as they come out of the printer. On the old version of this printer I could just snap it out. This one seems to be permanently attached. ???

Yes it is attached.  It just flips up a bit to load paper.

I was hoping for a "hack" of some kind to forcibly remove it. 🙂
