I want to scan multiple photos at a time and then separate to individual files for editing and creation of a photo book. Can I do this withWindows 10 alone?

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
The following resource will help you :
http://123.hp.com/us/en/
Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
Watch this example that shows how to scan multiple photos: (different printer but the software is similar)
Scan multiple photos with Auto Crop
Hope that helps.

Hi BQW.
If you already have multiple scanned photos in a single JPEG file, you can use HP Photo Creations to separate and print them. Here's how:
- Choose the print size you want from the Prints menu (e.g., 4x6).
- Click Add Photos to import the multi-image scan.
- Click the imported image to open its toolbar, then click the Crop button.
- Click Print.
HP Photo Creations is a free download for Mac and Windows at www.hp.com/go/hppc.
Hope this helps,
