The HP Deskjet 1510 printer cannot perform automatic two-sided printing, it has to be done manually. I will explain the procedure to perform two-sided printing from Microsoft Word application. The same procedure can be used to print from other applications:

To Print a Single Page 2 Sided document:

1) Load a single sheet of Paper in the input tray.

2) Open the Microsoft Word document and Select File>Print.

3) In the Print Window, Enter 1 next to pages option.

4) Click on Print. This will print the first page of the document.

5) Now, flip the Printed page and place in the input tray.

6) Now print the second page following steps 1 to 3 above and entering 2 next to pages option.

To Print a Multiple Page 2 sided document:

1) Load a stack of media or no of sheets needed for the print job in the input tray.

2) Open the Microsoft Word document and Select File>Print.

3) Now, print all the odd numbered pages in the document first. To do this, in the Print Window, enter all odd numbers next to pages option seperated by comma. Ex: If you have a 6 page document, enter 1,3,5 next to pages section.

4) Click on Print and the odd pages will be printed.

5) Next, take the stack of printed pages, flip it and load into the input tray.

6) Now print the even numbered pages by following steps 1 to 3 above and entering all even numbers next to pages option seperated by comma. Ex: If you have a 6 page document, enter 2,4,6 next to pages section.

7) Click on Print and the even pages will be printed.

Hope this helps.
