As stated above, my printer has this error code each time I turn it on. I have tried resetting the printer. However, I could not remove both ink catridges as they do not move. I am able to remove the color ink catridge only and disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer. Then, I waited for 60 seconds and reconnected the power cord. Still, the error message is displayed.

Is there any other possible solution to this?

Thank you

As I understand you are getting a '0x' error message on your HP Envy 4500 printer. Don't worry we'll work together to find a solution for you,

Please make sure that the product is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

First, remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a Hard Reset on the printer.

* With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

* Remove USB cable, if present.

* Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

* Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

* Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

* Now insert the ink cartridges and then try and check if it works,

If the issue persists, I would suggest you check if there is any latest firmware update available for your printer, using this link.

Hi @Jeet_singh,

Thank you for your feedback. I really appreciate it.

I did what you have suggested (Solution 1- Hard Reset, 2- latest firmware update, 3- HP phone support). However, according to HP phone support, there is something wrong with the hardware. Thus, the solution being given to me is to buy a new printer if there is no more warranty for my product because according to them, the price to repair exceeds the price of the printer.

Honestly, I feel very disappointed. I really like this product and I have just used it for more than one year. The previous HP printer that I have lasts very long and still workable until now.

Nevertheless, I have not given up on fixing or repairing it.

Hope you have a blessed day ahead.

Thank you.
