i'm engr. eddy i'm currently working on a deskjet 3515 printer. it keeps showing paper jam error even after opening it and making sure there is no paper in it . i've tried all i know i don't know if any body have had such problem and would love to share solution with me. bbm: 52f4ea93

Hi @eddyle ,

 

I see by your post that you are getting a "paper jam" error message, but there isn't one. I would like to help you today.

 

I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

 

I have provided a document, just to double check the areas for a possible paper jam and some other steps to try. Just to rule that out.

thanks for the reply. I've tried it and its still giving the same issue I want to try and wash the inside with tap water and see if any changes
