HP 1320 Laser Jet Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

HI,

My printer USB port for pluging data cable is broken and disconnected due to poor handling of the  cable (See its image below).  I tried to repair it by soldering additional cable, but the space on the printer circuit board is very small to solder.  What can I do solve this problem?

Replace the board with a new one. If it's too small to solder there is not much you can do.

You can try a USB to Parallel adapter. However be aware that it may or may not work.
