I can't setup scan to email
05-04-2017 05:00 PM

HELP! I cannot seem to set up the scan to email for the life of me. Everytime I try it says "Cannot resolve the SMTP server. Check the SMTP and DNS server settings with your system administrator or Internet Service Provider."
What does that mean? I'm typing everything in right! (but apparently not?)
Please help!

H,
What are the settings you have set?
What email service do you use?
What smtp server did you use? which port? with SSL or not?with login details or not?
such steps varies for each and any email server and will require some more details to guide you further, it is likely due to a wrong configuration.

I changed the port # to 587, but it still pops up and says "Cannot resolve the SMTP server. Check the SMTP and DNS server settings with your system administrator or Internet Service Provider."
What does that actually mean? Is this something I can configure on my own or is it asking me to contact our internet service provider?
I'm all confused! 😞 So frustrating!
