Hello,
The printer when asked to copy A3 paper, it copies properly, but when asked to scan A3 to PC it scans partial A3, the hardware scanning head does not seem to make a full movment over the scanable area.
Also I had some dificulties instaling drivers, the updated ones i found on hp support website, are not working propperly (cannot print A3 size at all, as is it missing from possible layouts), only the original driver found on CD that came with printer are working but still the shrinked scanned area is still unfixed. Would be nice to be able to scan A3 pages.
Any sugestions please.
Ami!
Thank you for your time

Hi,
It supports to scan A3 originals as shown
- Twain-compliant software interface (Windows only)
- Resolution: 1200 x 1200 pixels per inch (ppi) optical
- Color: 24-bit color, 8-bit grayscale (256 levels of gray)
- Maximum scan size from glass: 297 x 432 mm (11.7 x 17.0 inches) --> I think this is A3 size
- Maximum scan size from ADF: 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14.0 inches) ---> I think this is legal size

Please try to scan A3 from glass area and use full size from its driver (software on your computer).
Regards.

Thank you for your reply, and that was the first thing I tried to do, except when opening New San window,, the source can be either flatbed or feeder. When I set it on feeder, there is an active field caled "paper size" from wich I can choose from a long list of basicly A4 and A5,6 to smaler formats. When I opt for the flatbed source, then this "paper size" field deactivates, and is no longer selectable, and when I still go on and scan, an incomplete A3 image is produced. Is there anywhere I can send some print screens of this issue?
Thank you!
Ami
