Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well @edblady!

I came across your message about the Officejet 8620 printer connectivity issue and wanted to pop in to help.

If the printer wireless light is blinking, that means that the printer is not connected to your network. You can use the “Wireless setup wizard” if you know your network name and password. Try the steps below:

  • On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon, and then touch the Wireless Menu (the gear icon) icon.
  • Touch Wireless Settings, then touch Wireless Setup Wizard. The printer searches for available wireless networks.
  • Touch the name of your wireless network, then follow the instructions on the printer control panel to connect the printer to your wireless network.

Go to http://hp.care/2f60OAW for detailed instructions.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Cheers 🙂
