HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have had my printer for about five years and I've not had one good year of it not having problems.  I was sent this printer when the first HP printer I got a C7200 malfunctioned during the first year. (that was a nightmare).. So, I was sent what I know had to be a "refurbished" printer this C7280.  this printer when activated.. sucks in a page and spits it out, then it prints the second page, then it sucks in another page and spits it out. Then it goes through a series of automations noises, and tells me to clear the paper jam.  I clear the paper jam, and then it does the same thing over again.  I have used more paper and wasted more ink dealing with this $350.00+ printer that I want to SCREAM.  Even when I use the Scan/Print Doctor.. it prints the test page great.. but when I print the document, it goes back to it's old ways.  Can another help with this problem, because HP surely can't.

Hello, @Lovieleeglo – Hope you are well 🙂

Thank you for becoming an HP Forum member. It is a great location to get help from the community, get suggestions and find what has worked for others!

I understand that you are having difficulties while printing with your Photosmart printer. To assist you with this issue, I need to know whether the printer can make a "Photocopy" or not.

Place a document face down on the scanner glass and press the copy option on the printer control panel. Let me know if it makes a good copy or not.

If the copy comes out fine, then try the steps mentioned below:

Thanks, I look forward to hearing back from you!

Good luck 🙂
