Hi,

This is from its manual (Page #30):

To make a copy from the device control panel
1. Make sure you have paper loaded in the main tray.
2. Place your original face down on the scanner glass. For more information, see Load originals.
3. Use the left arrow or right arrow to select one of the following functions:
• Copy B&W: To select a black-and-white copy job.
• Copy Color: To select a color copy job.
NOTE: If you have a color original, selecting the Copy B&W function produces a black-and-white copy of the color original, while selecting the Copy Color function produces a full-color copy of the color original.
4. Press OK.
5. Press Start.

You can download the whole manual from the following link:

The first try it circulated the paper but no print. The second try it circulated the paper faster with no print. Yes, I have the copy face down. I would appreciate any other suggestions!

I read the book on page #123. I followed the directions for changing the darkness with no effect. I appreciate any other help. Is it possible just the copy component to the device isn't working and I should take it back?

Hello Irenebur. I understand you would like to learn how to make a photocopy on the Officejet 4500 Wireless. The product manual contains information on how to make photocopies, in the "Copy" section.

Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Mario

I worked on behalf of HP.
