HP Officejet 4622

My Hp Officejet 4622 does everything. Copy, print, scan, receive faxes but does NOT send a fax. Do I need to install something?

Hello, @AndydV – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’d like to be of your assistance!

Going through your post, I understand that you are able to receive faxes, but unable to send them. Is this issue happening with only one number or is it happening with all the numbers you try to fax? Let me know.

I would like you run a fax test while awaiting your reply. Follow the steps below:

  1. On the product control panel, press the Setup button ().

  2. Press the button () next to the Down Arrow () until Fax Setup displays next to OK, and then press the button next to OK.

  3. Press the button next to the Down Arrow () until Fax Tools displays next to OK, and then press the button next to OK.

  4. Press the button next to the Down Arrow () until Run Fax Test displays next to OK.

  5. Press the button next to OK to print the report.

  6. Review the report.

If the test shows any correction that is required, please proceed ahead with the same. If the issue persists, go to http://hp.care/2nMaAMv and try the steps listed under “Solution 8” to enable or disable the ECM mode.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!

Good luck 🙂
