Check your private messages for the first step. I recommend the reset first just because it takes the longest. If we make any progress, that would be deleted if you had to do this step at the end instead so I am getting it out of the way now. Keep me posted.

Sorry this has taken me so long to reply. If you are still getting that error after setting a static IP (most importantly the 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for the DNS server), then there are some stipulations to your network setup you have to look for. Make sure you are on a secured WPA2 network (g mode works best I believe), not on a guest network, and that your upload speed is greater than 1 (see link to test) www.speedtest.net.
Are you still unable to connect to web services? Try contact Cloud support for HP at 1-855-785-2777 and keep me posted. Good luck!

My printer has been having wireless issues and I need to reconfigure it from time to time. It seems that if I spend a few days without using it, it may happen. This was the case today when I tried to print it. it is connected to the wifi, but it keeps telling me that it was unable to connect to the server. I tried to delete it from the HPConnected, but can't generate a claim code to reinstall it.
I tried to change to manually set the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 as I found that suggestion online, but it tells me it is an invalid input.

Sometimes the web services server is down for maintance. Are you still having this issue? Has anything changed recently like your router?
I hope I can help.
Check out this link for tips on how to keep your printer on the wireless network when you're not using it.

unfortunately, no. I continue getting the following answer: "The printer was unable to connect to the server. Check the Internet connection and try again, or enter a proxy address."
The internet connection is working just fine. All the devices are properly connected and the printer is able to connect to the wireless as well, but I can't scan things to my email or send documents wirelessly to the printer.

The steps in the link above are all the same steps for you to follow to try to resolve this issue. If it doesn't work we can try a semi-full reset but that will completely restore your printer to a like-new condition and can be kinda risky. Let me know once you're at your "wits' end."
Good luck!
