I have lost my 5510 installation disc ( I would like to get one). I tried all the drvers on the HP website. They download fine but won't install. The "extract" then nothing?

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? 

 

Running the diagnostics at http://www.hp.com/go/tools may help resolve the issue if you have Windows 7 or Windows 8 the HP Printer Install Wizard will locate and download the proper driver.

 

You can also click on Support and Drivers at the top of the page, select your model number, select your operating system and look for a full featured driver.  If your printer is connected by USB you will need to disconnect it from the computer before installing the driver.  In this case do not connect the USB cable until instructed to by the installer.

Please read this post.  What operating system? Look at the top of this page, click on the "Support and Drivers" link.  Next enter your printer model, then select the operating system.  Download the appropriate driver and then run the install file.  Do not connect the printer USB cable until instructed to by the installer.

Is this the Photosmart 5510 or the Officejet 5510?  What operating system?
