Actually,  my question is not how to reset the default settings.  My question is what is the default username/password to access the the configuration using a browser.   After typing in the IP address of the printer I am confronted with the user name/password.   I don't know what the HP set default user name /password is set to.  In the HP manual it explains how to access the configuration but just says you need to enter a username/password without actually speciffying the default username/password.   I tried most common admin/admin  admin/blank  admin/password etc.. No luck.   KInd of very frustrated so hope you can help..

Hi @oiseaux38,

When the printer was originally setup, there was a password setup for the printer by the user, the PM has the instructions to remove the password and you have the option to configure a new one if you like or don't password protect the printer.

Thank You.
