Can Someone please help me?
I've had my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer for 4 weeks now and I can't get it working properly.
Running the CD that came with the printer anerror dialogue window appears stating the following:
"A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file E:\OJ860x86.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt".
Someones help on this problem would be much appreciated.

I just purchased a HP OFFICEJET PRO 8600 and had the following error:
A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file
C:\users\*\AppData\Temp\7zs364E\oJ860x64.cab has an
Invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is
Corrupt
*this space had my name.
I called network support and got switched to some tech support. I heard all kinds of problems about my new computer. Out dated application......spyware.....ect......and that they could fix it with a performance plan. What the Tech proceeded to say is without this....he couldn't fix it.
I believe this is a flaw in the install software. I have a new hp 3500 business computer and I was running the 8500 version to this same type of printers....
I'm very disappointed.
This appears to look like a problem with HP and It's note being fixed by the support people. They're interested only in selling

This is bad news! We can't get our problem fixed ( inherent in the printer/software etc unless we PAY for technical support. HP this is bloody ridiculous. Straight out of the box and problems since day one. What kind of customer service do you call this!
If this is the type of service we can expect from HP then I'll be telling my organisation to loook elsewhere for a reliable product that works first time with any frustrations
