I've had my printer for years and a few days ago it stopped printing. I looked around on the printer and the only thing that I can find is the IP Address says: "Not connected." I've tried rebooting both my computer and printer. I also went to the HP site and tried to re-download the Driver for this printer. Unfortunately when I get to the HP Utility Assistant step of the download it can't find my printer. I checked and my wireless is turned on. The next troubleshooting suggestion is to plug the printer directly into the computer with a USB cord. I no longer have the printer USB cord that might have come with the printer so I'm at a loss as to what to do next.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Happiness was short lived 😞
When I followed your steps it automatically printed one of the pages in my print queue and I could see that the IP Address now had a number instead of 'not connected'. So I assumed all was fixed and I was super happy. Then I realized that the rest of the pages in the queue did not print and anything else that I tried to print after I cancelled those out wouldn't print either.
I finished the download of the driver for the Photosmart 7525 and it printed a page that said "make the most of your printer" once I was done that download. So it works - but only for certain things.
Interesting point - now that I have downloaded the new driver all of my network name is now HP....Photosmart 7520. It used to always say HP...Photosmart 7525. Not sure if that is a factor.
Any thoughts?
