Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this printer for over 1 year and have not had scanning problems; however, today, the scanner is scanning only part of an 8-1/2 x 11 document.  When I look under the Manage Images options, I see that the width of the selected area is set at 8.50 and the height 7.44.  I have changed the height several times, but it always resets itself to 7.44.  I have used the diagnostic tool software and it has not fixed the problem.  I have also turned the printer off and back on.

 

Any ideas on how to adjust that scan area permanently?
