Hi

My HP C7280 All-In-One Printer keeps giving me ink system failure  error messages no matter what troubleshooting I try.

Does the code VIXXFNO724AR mean anything? I tried several code solutions and this is one response that showed up on the info menu.

I am wondering if it is a printhead assembly problem.

I don't think I have gotten a pump motor stalled error message. Just this one OXC19a0027

I have fairly new cartridges and that does not seem to be the issue. Nor is there any paper jams or carriage jams that are genuine.

I need a schematic and instructions how to remove and clean a printhead assembly on my printer. I haven't found anything online yet to show me.

Also, where can I find reasonable priced parts?

Thanks

Hi fishy
Check out the link below for info on cleaning the printhead

Your printer takes the HP02 family of supplies, right?

Hi

I had already tried that reset and once the printer completed its cycle the yellow icon came up on the screen saying pump motor stalled and after clicking ok it eventually returned to the original OXC19a0027 error.

I also tried truning the pump motor wheel counter clockwise as suggested by some guy on u-tube with the same results.

Thus I ;m thinking it is the pump motor. I think its called Ismatec micropump c9087-60007

I found one used  on e-bay fo 19 bucks, but I want to be sure that is the solution needed.

I have used this printer a bunch over the years, so I guess it's possible the pump may be bad since I'm getting absolutely no print response, just the printhead moving back and forth is all I see. I assume that is the printhead.

Your advice???

Hi

I forgot to mention I don't think the printhead is removeable on a C7280. I could  no see a handle or anything to remove it?

Please refer me to someone who has  more depth of knowledge on this issue. As I said in several posts now I have tried most of the resets and other simple resets with no results and the same error code. Pump motor I think is the issue since no preinting at all is starting. You are the experts. I have 3 HP printers and want to keep my C7280 if possible.

Please advise
