Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Our 7520 printer cartridges dry out and will not print well even though there is ink in them.  Is there a recommended way to moisten them?

@TonyLangton,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that your HP Photosmart 7520 e-All-in-One Printer is not printing even though there is ink in the cartridges.

This issue could occur if the printhead nozzles are clogged or the printhead is defective or the cartridges are not properly vented.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Fixing Poor Print Quality

Let us know when was the last time you changed the cartridges.

Also, let us know how often you use the printer.

Let me know how this works.

If the printer is on the cartridge, put the printer head over steam, the heat and moisture might dissolve the clogged ink.

Youtube might give you other ideas.
