I do not want to register for automatic ink program.

Every time I use the printer, a box pops up after my printing job asking me if I want to join

I have a costco warehouse only minutes from me, I have no use for this service as I an buy replacement ink on a moments notice

How do I stop this popup box. It is a nusance to have to close a popup every time I print something.

Thank You

Hi @salbertarose,

Thank you for stopping by the HP forums.  A Good day to you. 🙂 I read the post about popups on the printer that asks you to join for an instant ink program that you do not want. will be delighted to assist you with this. 🙂

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this.

Is the popup on the printer or the computer?

If it is on the printer please perform a hard reset on the printer from this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-4650-All-in-One-Printer-series/5447930/model/544793... Please perform step 1 only.

If it is on the computer, please try this link to disable the popup and check if it works: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01841764

Please try these steps also.

Enter Control Panel

Select Printer Sharing

Right click on HP printer

Select Printer Properties

Select Change Properties in lower left

Select Device Settings

Select Printer Status Notifications

Change to Disable

Save

If it does not resolve the issue, please contact Hp phone support to get the situation corrected. please contact HP phone support to get this done.

Step 1. Open link: www.hp.com/contacthp/

Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect

Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"

Step 4. Scroll down and click: HP contact options - click on Get phone number, Case number and phone number appear.

The pop up is on my computer

I am using windows 10, so those steps you gave me do not make sense, there is no "change printer properties in the lower left"

And that link to "disable the popup"  gave me a page that was so lengthy and so complicated....I just could not figure out what I was suppose to do?

Sorry, so far the information has not been useful

And that page you gave me to contact phone support....only gave me a page to fill in my issue, no phone number.

Thanks

So, I called HP support

I was transferred 3 times, then cut off

I called back a 4th time and I was on the phone for 1/2 hour, and no one knows what i'm talking about and cannot give me any solutions to disable  the Instant Ink popups. No one actually knows what i'm talking about!!!

Disappointed.....
