HP Recommended
Product: OfficeJet 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Installed printer using wireless, all procedures were followed and "okayed" by system - printer will not print; nothing in queue. Hooked up wire from printer to computer USB; still nothing. It shouldn't be this difficult. Please help.

Welcome to HP Support Forum. Firstly, please download an run the following tool:

      http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/HPPSdr.exe

It may fix the problem for you. If not, post back full error message(s).
