Deskjet F4280
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I try to install a HP Desktop F4280 to my desktop. I always get a message that installation is not complete. I ran the installation CD, downloaded a more current printer driver, made the printer installed the default printer and it is connected by USB to LPT1 printer port. When I do a test print, the page comes out blank.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer 3 times and get the same result. Could the reason that the page prints blank is because there a more current version of the driver for Windows 10?

Is Windows 10 compatible with a HP Desktop F4280 printer?

Thank you

Hi @tradeeee,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

The HP Deskjet F4280 is compatible with Win 10 (see Windows 10 Compatible Printers).  Go to the HP Deskjet F4200 All-in-One printer series Software and Drivers page, then follow the on-screen instructions to get the latest printer software.

Let me know if that helps!
