I try to install a printer HP Laser Jet P1005 on Windows 10.
With Windows 7, the printer printed very well.
Language = Romanian
Messages :
Serviciile de domeniu Active directory sund indisponible in mod curent. (Active directory services are indisponible now).
Printer software installer nu mail functioneaza. (Installer software does not function anymore.)
Can anybody help me ?

Hi,
If you have a 64-bit version of Windows 10, install the following drivers for your printer:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21058/bi-55362-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-en.exe
If it is a 32-bit version, install the following instead:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21048/bi-55240-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win32-en.exe

Hi,
Please download the driver from this link: Driver Link
This link open into your PC/Laptop, so that automatically detect the windows and bit. After download the driver, uninstalled the driver from PC/Laptop and restart the PC/Laptop.
After that installed the new driverand try to connect the PC/Laptop with Printer through USB cable.
I thnk it will help to you.

Thank you for your answer.
My software is Windows 10 Pro, versiune 1511, 64 bits.
So I loaded the software that you recommended for my printer. I think that it is the same software that I had already loaded. Anyway, I have the same message.
I am translating the message from the Romanian language :
Installing...
Copying files to the hard driver...
Printer sofware installer does not function anymore. Due to a problem, a program does not function anymore correctly. Windows will close the program and will let you know if a solution is available.
The only button I can press on the screen is : Close program.
When I press this button, nothing happens...

Try installing the folloiwing driver and check for any difference:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL21058/bi-55382-7/ljP1000_P1500-HB-pnp-win64-ro.exe

Now, I am in France, and my printer is is Romania... Therefore, I cannot try your recommandation. In 3 weeks, I will go again to Romania and try your recommandation...
