Chrome OS

My partenr has just obtained a acer 15 chromebook which is sufficient for his needs.  However, I am having problems installing the printer using i cloud.  I have got the chromebook to recognise the printer ( the  blue light  is now solid), but I am having problems getting the chromebook to communicate with the printer.  I think I may have to register the chromebook with the printer and need a code for that.  How do I get that please.

Sorry to be such a total novice!

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Please watch these resources on how to print and scan on a Chromebook:

Chromebook: Printing using HP Print apps

Scanning from Chromebook

Hope that helps!
