HP Digital Sender Flow 8500
Microsoft Windows Server 2008

Hi all,

We have a HP digital sender flow 8500 setup and it has been working flawlessly over the past 6 months until today.

Last night, we had issues with our file share server which is where our scanned PDF files from the scanner go to.

We currently have 6 quick set icons setup on the scanner for different departments. Under each quick set, they have a location on our file server and have a windows account for authorisation setup from our active directory in order to authenticate with the file share when sending over the PDF files from the scanner. The scanner has a static IP address and is connected to the network and can be pinged without any problems.

Now whenever a user selects one of the quick set icons on the device it takes in the document to be scanned and sits on "processing" and then changes to "failed" after around 20-30 seconds. The reason it fails is because it comes up with the message "Invalid folder destination server or path".

I have restarted the device several times, tried to re-input the microsoft AD credentials again, update the path, but none of these seem to work. I have also tried to access the locations for each of the quick set icons as a normal AD user from our domain and we can map these paths without any issues but it fails when scanning to these locations on the scanner.. We havent tried to map the paths using the AD account assigned to the scanner for authorising the scan jobs, but what we did do was reset the password for this within AD and then reapply this to the scanner but this didnt work.

Any suggestions/help are welcome.

Thanks.
