Is HP7525 all-in-one printer capable of scanning legal size documents?

Hello,

Legal size ( in USA & Canada ) is  8.5 x 14 ".

Maximum scan size from glass: 21.6 x 29.7 cm (8.5 x 11.7 in)

Therefore this printer is not capable of scanning Legal size paper.

I was not able to do it directly from the glass of the all-in-printer, but after installing the Photosmart 7520 series software that came with the printer, I was able to scan a legal size (8.5 x 14") document via the automatic document feeder from my windows based PC.   With the all-in-one printer turned on and your document loaded in the automatic document feeder:  1.  Click on the icon to launch the software; 2. Click on Scan to open the scan dialog, a new window opens.  3.  Click on Document to File;  4.  Go to the bottom-most drop down selection box and choose Automatic Document Feeder;  5.  Go back up to the top-most drop down box named Scan Size, and choose Legal (8.5 x 14 inches);  6.  Click on Scan.   After the scan is finished, save your file when prompted.
