Cant get my Kali linux to hook up with the printer wont even dicover it on network help .

Hello Linux101,  

 

Welcome to the HP Support Forum.  HP sponsor a web site that hosts Linux drivers and offers support for 1,000 of HP printers at http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html.  From this site you can download drivers, search the Knowledge base http://hplipopensource.com/node/293 and even request help by posting a question.  I checked the HP Officejet 4620 and it is supported http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/officejet/officejet_4620_series.html.

 

Since Kali is based on Debian, I believe that you should be up and running once you have the HPLIP package installed.  I hope this helps!
