Welcome to HP Support Forum. I hope you're well @NGWIRAN!

I read about your printer issue and wanted to stop in to share my suggestions with you 🙂

I understand that you are getting thick black lines while making a print. I found a wonderful document which will help us resolve this issue.

Go to http://hp.care/2io5Ugq and start performing the steps from “Print a cleaning page” to fix this issue.

Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.

Have a great day 🙂
