Hi @Omegapackaging,
I see by your post that you would like to know if the printer can print two-sided. I can help you with this.
You can copy or print two-sided, unfortunately the printer can't scan two-sided. None of the Consumer Laserjets models can scan two-sided. Some Officejet models can and some Commercial Laserjet models.
Here are some steps for printing and copying for two-sided printing, I have provided for future use.
Printing on Both Sides of the Paper (Duplexing).
Here are steps for copying two-sided.
Press Copy Menu button.
Use the arrow buttons to select the Two-Sided menu, and then press the OK button.
Use the arrow buttons to select the 1 to 1 sided option or the 1 to 2 sided option and then press the OK button.
Press the Start Copy button to start copying.
Have a nice day!
Thank You.

Hi,
I bought a HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP. After insalling the latest USB driver from the HP page I tried to print a double-sided page and succeeded immediately.
My problem is that the HP LaserJet M1536dnf MFP does not make double-sided copies.
Even if I configure 'double-sided'-copies with the 'copy modus'-button it does not work. It does NOT make any difference if I configure: 1 -> 1 or 1 -> 2.
As soon as I press the 'start copy'-button the M1536 copies the first page and gives it out, without waiting for the 2nd page to copy before giving out.
What do I have to do in order to copy a double-sided page preferable to the fore- and backside of a piece of paper ??
The Firmware of my printer is from 20130815.

Hi @minoll,
When printing two-sided copies, you have to load 2 pages in order to get 1 two-sided document.
This model won't do two-sided printing with 1 piece of paper with printing on both sides.
In the Copy Menu, under two-sided, select 1 to 2 sided.
It will pull page one in, then page 2. Then it will print the one page and pull the paper back in again to print on the other side.
Hope that helps.
Thank You.

I understand that it is NOT possible to copy a double-sided document of several pages, which is the almost standard in the business world, to its double-sided copy.
It's a pity that I misunderstood the description of the multi-functional device, else I won't have bought it.
