Product: LaserJet 4240
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
We have a LaserJet 4240 printer we are trying to repurpose in our office, but we are unable to add it to our print server because we cannot get into the networking menu on the printer. It is requiring an administrator password that no one has any record of. We need to factory reset it. Please provide instructions for this. Thank you.

When you turn on the printer wait for the memory to start to count and then press and hold down the green check mark button until all 3 lights turn on solid. Release and scroll down to cold reset and hit the check mark button. See if it now works.
