Hi,
The printer does not support auto duplexing (auto scanning of both sides of the paper).
You may perform a such manually from the HP Scan software.
Open HP Scan, select PDF and ensure the resolution is 300 DPI or below.
As well ensure the Show Scan Preview option is checked, then click on Scan.
Using the plus button scan the next side by order till you are done, click on Save once you finish scanning any required page.
Regards,
Shlomi

Hello,
I would agree with you completely except that one fine day, the printer printed two sided documents which it is not supposed to print. To get this i did not change any settings on the printer. please correct me on this.
Your suggestion to print is what i am doing and not what i wanted to do. 😞
THanks
Vivek

Hey Vivek,
The CM1415 does not support automatic duplexing, its hardware does not include any hardware component to perform duplex capabilities and therefore that cannot be done by the specific model.
You may find its specifications listed below:
Duplex Print Options: Manual (Driver support provided) http://www.shopping.hp.com/shopping/pdf/ce862a.pdf
